Who is this workshop for?
Write Yourselves is a Trauma and Dissociation Sensitive online writing workshop - particularly designed for dissociative people with childhood trauma - but is open for anyone interested in listening to, exploring and expressing their inner voices - in a self-paced way.
The workshop is focusing on listening to yourself/yourselves, give yourself/yourselves a voice as well as expressing yourself/yourselves. Additionally we will also work with grounding, stabilizing, resourcing (to use a "clinical" lingo).
It is a “toolbox” workshop space. And the tools you try out and individualize so they fit you.
This is not therapy. This is a supportive workshop space, where we look at how you can support yourself/yourselves and cater for your own needs, how you can learn to listen to yourself/yourselves, your inner voices, find your own compass as well as find out if working with your words and other "artistic" ways will help you express yourself/yourselves.
Multitudes - Inspiration!
Got a tell-tale heart, like Mr. Poe
Got skeletons in the walls of people you know
I'll drink to the truth and the things we said
I'll drink to the man that shares your bed
I paint landscapes, and I paint nudes
I contain multitudes
Bob Dylan (I contain multitudes)
Grounding
Grounding - the base for everything. This is how you keep yourself stable and present in your own life, making it possible for you to make choices. You can never have too many grounding tools!
Resourcing
Resourcing - is about finding all the tools you might need to keep yourself/yourselves stable (and eventually happy) and know how to adapt them to yourself/yourselves - so they actually work.
Expressing
Expressing - is when you dare to show up as yourself/yourselves - firstly in your own life - but also in the world at large - and bring/share what you want to bring/share.
Multitudes - More Inspiration!
The past and present wilt—I have fill'd them, emptied them.
And proceed to fill my next fold of the future.
Listener up there! what have you to confide to me?
Look in my face while I snuff the sidle of evening,
(Talk honestly, no one else hears you, and I stay only a minute longer.)
Do I contradict myself?
Very well then I contradict myself,
(I am large, I contain multitudes.)
Walt Whitman (Song of Myself)

Your Facilitator & Guide
I am a trauma sensitive mindfulness instructor, a trainee psychotherapist, an ecotherapist and an equine and nature assisted growth facilitator. I also study cognitive science, psychology, social work and the history of ideas and science. I am an artist, writer, and photographer. An educator and researcher. A lived experience expert. I have a degree in language and writing and have published two books. I also publish my text on Medium and Substack and spread them all over - in blogs and on social media. To write is almost as important to me as breathing.
And an advocate for better treatment and support for dissociative people – no matter what intersectionality they live in.
Plurality, multitude and diversity are what I live, love and breath.
I also love growth and the potential it holds for each one of us!
